FOCUS ON TEAMTOGS

In the hot seat this month is Karen, our friend and founder of TEAMTOGS

Karen will be attending the AGM so have a read about her and TeamTogs and then come along to say hello in February.

Q: What services do you provide?

Branded Uniforms, Clothing and Merchandise delivered via:

  • Innovative and original product styling and selection.
  • In-house design and energy-efficient print and embroidery
  • No/very low minimum order quantities
  • The latest responsibly made ranges
  • Exceptional quality control
  • Wardrobe management ordering system for ease of ordering

Q: Do you have any strange stories/encounters ?

We’ve had some very unusual briefs over the years, and let’s just say there is nothing we haven’t been asked to brand!

However on a proud note, we were delighted to be asked to brand some aprons that were worn by Prince William and Catherine, The Princess of Wales when they visited a Beigel Bakery in the East End. Pictures of their visit, with them wearing the aprons we had supplied even made it to Hello Magazine!

Q: What benefits can you bring to members via your partnership with the NCDA, how can you support the membership?

We offer a personal and consultative service and will always go the extra mile (no pun intended!) for our clients and especially NCDA members.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your day-to-day job?

We love the variety of the clients and projects we work with. No day or week at TeamTogs is ever the same. We are lucky enough to have a fun, loyal and dedicated team who stay calm even under pressure and our informal team catchphrase is ‘teamwork makes the dream work’.

Q: What is something unexpected about you or your company?

I founded the business with my husband Martin in 2003 and we don’t take it for granted that the business and the marriage are still going strong!

Q: If you could have dinner with 5 people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Dolly Parton

For inspiration and the glamour factor

George Michael

That voice!

David Beckham

A national treasure

Joan Collins

How does she do it?

Julia Roberts

Natural, graceful and successful

Q: If you were stranded on a desert island, and you could only bring three things with you, what would you bring and why?

  • My filled toiletry bag (is that cheating?)
  • A tablet filled with content and ebooks
  • A solar charger to charge the tablet
